US Senate Says Right to Keep & Bear Arms is Debatable

According to the U.S. Senate, the individual right to keep and bear arms under the Second Amendment is debatable. A Senate.gov guide to the Constitution contains an “explanation” next to every section and amendment of America’s founding document. The Second Amendment guarantees, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
