The United States has sent at least 7 B-2 stealth Bombers to Diego Garcia. The strategic bombers took-off from Whiteman Air Base in Missouri, and were accompanied by C-17 cargo planes and air-to-air refuelers. This comes as tensions remain high as the US continues to conduct airstrikes on the Houthis in Yemen.

Meanwhile, Washington is sending more military assets to West Asia. USS Carl Vinson will now join operations with USS Harry Truman which is already extending its deployment.
