Jordan’s King Abdullah II delivered a searing rebuke of the international community during a formal address to the European Parliament on Tuesday, condemning global inaction over the Gaza war and warning of escalating tensions following Israeli strikes on Iran.

Calling the humanitarian crisis in Gaza a “shameful version of our humanity,” the monarch accused world powers of desensitization and hypocrisy, warning that failure to uphold international law risks a complete moral collapse.

He reiterated Jordan’s call for a two-state solution, urged European leadership, and described the situation as a defining test for the future of global order.
