In this interview, renowned geopolitical analyst Robert D Kaplan argues that American power has been in decline for years, and this will likely get worse under Trump. “This time around, Trump is more experienced, he’s more vindictive,” Kaplan says.

He explores what this means for geopolitics, in particular in relation to other “great powers” China and Russia.
